My name is Ann-Spohie and I am a cleaning employee at the Sint-Andriesziekenhuis in Tielt. This is a regional General Hospital with 270 beds. With 45 cleaning employees, we have to clean approximately 30,000 m2.

HOW DID THE CLEANING PROCESS TOOK PLACE BEFORE? WHAT WERE THE PROBLEMS YOU FACED THE MOST?

Our equipment needed to be replaced and we were looking for a more ergonomic system.

WHY DID YOU PURCHASE A WILLMOP 50 MACHINE?

We were looking to make our cleaning process more ergonomic. We wanted to protect our employees and relieve them of heavy burdensome tasks. We believe that we increased our people satisfaction at work by investing in Willmop.

We have purchased a total of 8 machines to be used in different departments.

IN WHICH AREAS IS THE MACHINE USED?

We use the WILLMOP a bit everywhere, but especially in smaller and tight spaces like the rooms and the consultations offices.

Cleaning is much faster and safer. Willmop is very easy to handle and the floors have been cleaned very thoroughly. You can see that in the dirty water tank.

WHAT HAS IMPROVED SINCE CLEANING WITH THE WILLMOP?

We used to have to clean manually, but we couldn’t get the floors dry. With Willmop, the dirty water is not smeared like with the traditional mops. Instead it is sucked up and therefore completely removed from the floors.
